Ohio Transfer Council David Gall Memorial Scholarship 2009-2010

The Ohio Transfer Council will award three (3) non-renewable $1,000 scholarships for the academic year 2009-2010 to students who are planning to transfer for the Fall 2009 term. The eligibility guidelines, application, and list of participating institutions are posted below. Cleveland Scholarship Program (CSP) will be administering the program.

Student Eligibility Guidelines in General: 

• A completion of at least 24 semester credit hours or 36 quarter credit hours in the undergraduate work taken after high school graduation from the current college/university of attendance by June 30, 2009.

• Presently enrolled with a minimum overall cumulative grade point average of 3.0.

• Currently enrolled for at least 6 semester/9 quarter hours and continuing the course load at the transfer school (also attended/will be enrolled for both Fall and Spring (semester) or all of Fall, Winter, and Spring (quarter) terms with the above minimum hours at the current institution).

• Beginning classes at the next institution in Fall 2009.

• Out-of-state residents who are attending an Ohio Transfer Council participating school are welcome.

• Graduate students not eligible.

Jack Kent Cooke Foundation Undergraduate Transfer Scholarship Program

The Jack Kent Cooke Foundation Undergraduate Transfer Scholarship Program each year awards approximately 30 scholarships to students attending community colleges or two-year institutions and planning to transfer to four-year institutions. Each award covers a portion of educational expenses, including tuition, living expenses, required fees, and books for the final two to three years of the baccalaureate degree.

NOTE: Students interested in this scholarship must be nominated by the Jack Kent Cooke Foundation Faculty Representative at their institutions (See the list of designated faculty representatives at the website below). Students may not apply directly to the Foundation for this program.
